2016: January. Fr Des Devenney moves to Our Lady and All Saints in Stourbridge and Fr Pat Brennan is appointed new Parish Priest.
2015: Parish Convent closed.
2011: 6oth Anniversary of Foundation of Parish leaflet
2010: The Chair used by Pope Benedict XV1 at Cofton Park is now part of our church.
2009: 19th September. link The Parish enjoys visit of Pope Benedict to Coften Park, Birmingham.
2007: Church consecrated 9th June. 40 years of Holy Family Church and 56 years of the Parish. Church refurbished. Parish centre re-opened.
2005: Primary School celebrates 50 years.
2000: Millennium Mass: New years day.
1992: First Deacon ordained.
1990: Church refurbished by Fr Donlon and stained gass window is set behind the altar.
1982: The Parish enjoys visit of Pope John Paul to Coventry Airport.
1978: Sisters of Charity of St PAul established in Parish. Live service on BBC.
1974:Tragic death of Canon Diamond.
1972:Parish celebrates 21 years.
1969: Cardinal Newman Secondary School opened.
1967: Church blessed and opened on 1st July. Blessing of the Church booklet
1966 Foundation Stone laid 9th June.
1965: Church building started.
1958: Church Hall and Presbytery completed. Inspired by Canon Diamond.
1955: Primary School opened 11th January
1951: The Parish was formally established on 1st September 1951. Mass celebrated in ‘The Hut’.
